Background
A myconid spore servant is a Small or Medium corpse animated by myconid spores. Once raised, the creature loses its former individuality and becomes a blunt fungal laborer or guardian, driven only by the purpose of the myconid that created it. It is not a true myconid, but an emptied body turned into an extension of the colony.
Spore servants are most often created by myconid sovereigns through animating spores. They are useful for carrying, digging, guarding, and fighting, especially where a colony needs strength but cannot risk its living members. Their movements are slow and unnatural, and the sight of a familiar dead body shambling under fungal control is one of the more disturbing signs that a myconid circle is defending itself.
