Ellieish Goldfinger learned early that in a port town like New Vale, people notice size first and care about it least if you make them look at something better. She answered that lesson with perfect tailoring, bright purple hair, polished shoes, and the kind of composure that suggests she belongs wherever she has just arrived. "Tiny Elle" began as a joke made at her expense and survived because she wore it too well for anyone else to own afterward.

She is not a cutpurse in an alley and has never wanted to be. Elle prefers locked desks to loose purses, private rooms to crowded markets, and the exact moment when a careful person realizes a careful thing has gone missing. She treats theft like etiquette turned inside out: know the room, know the host, know what matters, and never disturb more than the job requires. A good suit gets her through the front door. A good lie keeps her there. A good pair of hands handles the rest.

What makes her dangerous is not menace but finish. Elle is precise, light on her feet, and extremely good at turning other people's assumptions into cover. In a tense room she looks decorative until the ledgers vanish, the key is gone, or the window no one checked is already open. She likes fine things, but more than that she likes competence done elegantly. If she can solve a problem without blood, noise, or embarrassment, she considers that the proper way to work.
