Background

Common through the old-growth forests of Verdantweald, wolves hunt in coordinated packs, moving silently between the great trees. They are not corrupted — their presence in the forest is part of its natural order, and they range the edges of human settlements without being drawn to them. They are a fixture of the Verdantweald dark, more heard than seen.
