Geography

Verdantweald forms the southwestern corner of the peninsula and is the only overland connection to the mainland. It gets many travelers through mountain passes that are as welcoming as they are safe. The Green Hills run north to south along its western border. The only well known way through the Green Hills is the windy pass on the Kings Road.

Part of Ember Isle is also part of Verdantweald. The hisotrical reason for this is still somewhat disputed but also just accepted. The small coastal city of Moonhallow is on the Isle.
