Redwater's hot springs have kept half of Embercrag alive through the cold-sickness seasons. Alaric trained there, learned to read warmth the way other clerics read scripture — where it pools, where it drains, what it means when a body stops holding it.
Sturdy traveling vestments, sleeves rolled, hands always clean despite the work. Laughs easily. Prays before meals and before battles, but never loudly.
Spring-Healer → Keeper of the Forge-Faith. Alaric's faith is rooted not in a distant god but in the First Forge of Varr — the belief that warmth was the original act, and the Frost Corruption is a kind of unwriting of that act. When the heat-spirits of the Emberdeep Warrens stopped asking for gold and started asking for names, he knew the Corruption had reached the deep places. He left Redwater to find its source before there is nothing left warm enough to return to.
