Geography

The southeastern coastal realm of the Alden Peninsula, bordered by the Pax River to the west, the Sable Sea to the south, and open water to the east. Colder currents have brought thicker fog and larger storms. Black sand beaches turn to glass where lightning strikes. Some tides arrive at the wrong time, with no astronomical explanation.

The inland expanse of the Realm is a lowland wasteland, deserts to the west and marshland to the east. The Black Crown plateau rises in the middle of the desert a giant black rock plateau build from a long dormant volcanic flow. The top of the plateau is nearly uninhabitable (except for some nomadic tribes). the only Inhabitants of the area have taken residents in the lava tubes of ancient geological formations. The clans who reside there believe them to be a pathway to the gods.
